Navigating Your Path :: Channeled Messages with Odin

The ocean is uncertain. In an instant, the wind can pick up and go completely still in the next moment.

Before you know it, the wind leaves your sails, leaving you adrift without movement. You have lost all momentum. Not to mention, your compass fell overboard. You are left with a couple of options. You can sit and wait for the wind to pick up or examine what resources you have available to you.

Did you bring a paddle? Perhaps you aren’t close enough to shore to paddle.

The waves are growing in size, and they threaten to sink your tiny wooden boat. They crash against the sides repeatedly, presenting you with a new obstacle.

You put so much effort into planning for your sail, entertaining in your mind how exciting it would be to begin this new journey.

Until you lose momentum, the elements aren’t right, and the weather isn’t cooperating. It could be hours, days, or weeks until another ship arrives.

You may know how to fish and have packed enough food and supplies to withstand starvation. But how will you get to where you are going?

You must be completely off course now, especially since you lost your compass. How long do you need to float in the middle of the ocean before your will begins to dissipate?

We all have dark times. Darkness can make it difficult to see and to navigate. It can feel like we are completely isolated in the middle of the sea. One thing is for certain: the tide will carry you.

It may take much longer than expected, but the tide never completely loses momentum, even when we do.

Surrender isn’t always easy. It takes building inner trust, piece by piece until we finally let go. Our inner compass knows the way even when our external resources become scarce.

An intentional heart will help you navigate. When there are times of uncertainty, here are some questions you can ask yourself. How clear is my intention to get from point A to point B? How long will it take me? Will there be steps in the middle? Will I have to add points C and D into the equation? Am I being redirected? What is the lesson I can learn from being where I am now?

Aim with confidence, precision, and dedication to yourself. You can always get back on course while authentically seeking yourself. There will be detours, lessons, and learnings along the way.

If you give up too soon, you might miss the lighthouse on the horizon calling your ship home. When your feet touch the wet sand, and your heart fills with home, you will not see the struggle in vain.

Fighting against a current is exhausting and a sure way to deplete yourself for the journey ahead. Resources are within you and surround you. Sometimes, we are too stubborn to stop and ask for directions.

There is a wonderment in receiving help. It is a surrender in a sense. You are putting down the weight you have been carrying and splitting the burden.

Before long, the wind will pick up again. The stars will align to help you navigate.

Nature will never cease. You can align with it, learn to work with the current instead of against it, and allow it to carry you through life.

Misdirection is the time for introspection.

Odin is the All-Father. God of truth in its purest form, navigation, trust, respect, friendship, and loyalty during difficult times. He assists us in overcoming obstacles in our path. He sees beyond illusion, can unearth hidden truths within us, and restores our faith in the process and within ourselves.
