Elevating Your Soul Path :: Channeled Messages With Skadi

Living up to your true potential can be cumbersome for all of us. Some forget at an early age how to navigate our inner world as we learn to navigate our outer world.

We take baby steps, small but effective. Our very first steps as toddlers are considered monumental. Do you consider each small step you take as successful? Or do you discount it? Tiny steps can often feel like we are stagnant. Seeking and not finding. We yearn for success, but we find ourselves tucked into corners and beneath fallen trees that are too heavy to push off.

We take for granted the first steps that aided us in walking in the first place. Little milestones when we were children were celebrated. When did we stop celebrating? Every accomplishment deserves to be rewarded, no matter how small.

When did we stop living in the moment? Our own moment. Not moments belonging to the rest of the world. We compare ourselves to those we see as competition, not realizing that we are only creating competition inwardly. So when will you let yourself win? How far do you need to push yourself until you see that there is no finish line? Each step on your path to yourself is a great success.

Harder and harder we push ourselves, sometimes to the brink of insanity and what is beyond reason. Why? When did we start sprinting forward and leaving ourselves in the dust?

To be free means to have a willingness to learn. When we leave ourselves behind, we can lose momentum and get stuck in the mud or become stagnant.

Taking our time gives us new perspectives and insights. Taking notice of small details in things we may have missed. What if everything you needed was already within you and by sprinting forward, you passed it right by?

The celebration of small steps builds a natural cycle of reward within us. As we build momentum with success and joyful states of being, we can acknowledge the growth that is taking place.

A pebble is a pebble, but it is a pebble that wasn’t there before. One single pebble loosening at the right angle can create an avalanche. A final tip in the scale that is needed to change things forever.

Don’t give up. Keep pushing and collecting pebbles.
